Really at a low point, exercise-wise. While in NYC I vowed to find a gym to replace my beloved CP, so more for my reference than for anyone else, the current contenders:
More traveling in the weeks ahead, but I’m going to make a point of checking out one of these each week. It shouldn’t be that hard…
Really in spite of somewhat offputting spa-i-ness it will have to be Exhale of those three, won’t it? Only one with spin classes, anyway… I like kettlebell workouts but #2 does not seem full-service, and #3 will be less apropos for non-martial-arts oriented (go and see if their yoga is great, though – but it’s easier to find separate decent yoga classes than somewhere else that has good spin classes and some sort of adequate or medium-good boot camp/challenging body sculpt).

Yes. Exhale is certainly the most CP-ish of the bunch, but I can’t let go of the idea that I might, for once, belong to a gym that is NEAR MY HOUSE! (Should also see what the Exhale competitors are; this was just the result of a quick web search).
